The blofeld pitches up and then scans the wavetable (via mod wheel, so it's fun), which plays out what you hear here, plus a fair bit of outboard verb. Sounds like a vocoder but it's not. As opposed to traditional samplers the pitch is independent of the playback rate / length of the sample.

I build it in fl studio (32bits) with the soundfonts plugin (the soundfont used was "sgm")overdubs were done with a "strings" sample and the rest was just the pure instrument with eq and reverb. (it also includes a subtle piano and choir).

This is a break i made to layer over my breaks at 102bpm. It was created in free tracker jeskola buzz using vst instrument, alchemy, multiloop2-move knob 1. This is not a looped sample from the instrument, i created it using the tracker, then applied an ohm boys delay effect. Sounds great over the breaks at 102. Enjoy :).

It's me saying some words. I've recorded my speech and then used ardour's (http://ardour. Org) looping funtionality (which have proven to be rock-solid) to perform theese glitches. I used my mouse to select random ranges in the session, then used the "]" key to set tre selected region as a loop range. And also used "l" key to start looping if i accidentaly clicked on the playhead (which makes it stop playing). I also used space bar to break the loop into normal playback. There was a limiter in ardour. Recorded the performace using jack_capture cli program. I cut out some silence using audacity and converted the recording to flac.

For free use. This is file for creating deep ambiance. Just mix that sound with other ambiance sound (on free sound there is at least a million such sounds. . . Like noice. . Like thunder rain. . . Like station. . . Like people tallk and so far. . . ). It works best with noises or other deep sounds. I think if you add a little bit of that sound to other audio file you can get very spezial sound for ambiante. I will add similar sound as a only vocal too. There is a new freeware program called splitte. Aithat will take any piece of music and extract parts from it. It is highly inaccurate when trying to really accuratelysurgically remove, say, bass, drums, guitar or vocal tracks,but it creates some really trippy artifacts. All of these sample were from a live jazz tune that we were playing. The results of splitter splitting the tracks were really weird and ethereal. I have no affiliation with splitter. My first little attempt at making some film-like sound effects. Alot of bass in this one, tried to cut it below 30-50hz. I just want to point out to the people having a listen, that the sample that streams on the website has a small static-like noise in it. . The download version will not have this noise, i believe the compression for streaming degraded the sound a bit.

I realized with a start that i recognized a cluster of buildings across the way. I had seen them before, in another dream. In that dream i had been a different person.
